through the gloom

speedpaint, about 1.5 hours. it took so long to do so little because i was more focused on getting the colors right for the mood i was aiming for, instead of just drawing and getting my details clear and whatnot. i'm really terrible with color, so i need my practice.....
for some reason picking a deviantart category really annoys me recently. like, should i put this under game art -> concept? or drawing/illustration? or painting/airbrushing? or what?!? jeez. making this way too complicated to upload, in my opinion.
...it almost looks watercolor-y. hmmmm.
anyhow.
used inspiration/ref from photos of ...scotland i think. er. i don't really remember.
